* To check your players firmware version
1. Turn on your player.
2. From the main menu, select System -> Information.
The firmware version number is indicated next to Version.
* To install this firmware
1. Download the file into your local hard disk.
2. Close all applications and Windows Explorer windows that are currently running on your computer.
3. Connect your player to your computer.
4. Double-click the firmware file and follow the instructions on the screen.
* If your players firmware version as checked above was 1.40.03, and there are playback issues with DRM-enabled tracks after installing this new firmware, launch the transfer software to delete and retransfer DRM-enabled tracks to your player.
