NETWORK / CONNECTIVITY: Radio / Wireless activity control using the wireless switch (OR) the Fn+F2 hotkey depending on your system, Location Profiler (Creation and switching of profiles comprising location dependent system settings; Managing multiple connections), Internal network card activity (depending on your system), Wi-Fi Catcher(TM) Network Locator Configuration

OTHER / SYSTEM SETTINGS: Volume status, Hotkey hibernate, MediaDirect (on certain systems)

XPS SYSTEMS only: LED color control and Touchpad LED control (depending on your system), Advanced power schemes


Fixes


- The internal network card power management feature has been removed for systems with the Broadcom 440x network card. On upgrading to Dell Latitude D430 Dell QuickSet A44 version of QuickSet, the internal network card power management feature will not be available if the system has a Broadcom 440x network card.

- The location profiles will now be encrypted and saved in User Application DataDellQuickSet folder. Dell Latitude D430 Dell QuickSet A44 Admins can push the profiles in the XML format to this location for QuickSet to automatically detect them. NOTE: QuickSet will have to be restarted for the new settings to take effect.

- Ability to launch applications with command line parameters (Ex. VPN apps) on profile connect or disconnect has been added as an enhancement to this version.

- A wizard mode or advanced tabbed mode option has been added to create location profiles.

- A mini mode has been added to view the summary and quickly apply profiles after creation.


 Known issues:

1. If your docking station has a battery in it and you click on the QuickSet left menu option Dock Battery to view the status, Dell Latitude D430 Dell QuickSet A44 will cause the application to terminate. Please use Fn+F3 hotkey combination to view the battery status.

2. If you have a latitude system with a 440x Broadcom wired internal network card, there are some issues with the adapter switching feature in location profiler. You will have to access this feature from the wireless driver as workaround.
