Installs the driver for the ITE* IDE (PATA) controller on Intel Desktop boards for IDE CD / DVD-ROM and hard drives.
Native PATA / IDE drivers in Windows* XP do not support the ITE 8211 controller. If an IDE CD / DVD-ROM or IDE hard drive is used for installation of Windows XP, the F6 install driver is needed via a floppy disk.

Early versions of the Intel Desktop Board DG33TL do not include a floppy drive connector, so a USB floppy drive is required. Note: Windows* XP does not include support for certain USB floppy drives. Refer to http: / / support.microsoft.com / kb / 916196 / en-us for more information.

Note: An ITE driver is included in Vista and Intel DG33TL IDE Controller Driver 1.3.3.0 driver is not needed.
