This mode works seamlessly with other 802.11b products and will be turned on automatically when ZD1202 detects that ZyDAS ZD1202 802.11b Driver 824 is talking to another ZD1202.

ZD1202 MAC strengths on the lower cost, higher security and more power saving. 802.11 MAC protocol is embedded in ZD1202 chip. No external memory is needed which can lower total BOM cost. For security, WPA is supported with hardware TKIP engine. No performance will be sacrificed to adopt WPA security.
